

![]() SY RICHARDSON DIRECTOR/SCREENPLAY MUSTAPHA'S SECRET | Sy Richardson, is a committed member of West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. Sy is actor, director and writer in Hollywood, has been directing stage and screen plays for eleven years. His latest projects are Passing, Summers in Sulfolks, and Plumes at the Towne Street Theatre in Los Angeles. He recently directed and documented the SAG/AFTRA SYMPOSIUM 98 and a short film Us Against Them. He also co- wrote the screenplay for 1993 feature film Posse, directed by Mario Van Peebles. Sy is extremely practical and efficient, and yet deeply spiritual. He has been a great help in advancing Producer Mobin Khan's career in the movie industry and a true big brother. Highly commendable for his professionalism. Richardson's last acting projects: are FENCES, ERASABLE YOU, SHATTEREDILLUSIONS and MR. P's DANCING SUSHI BARS. Sy teaches acting workshops in North Hollywood. ![]() | Film and television composer Neil Argo's music career spans the genres of entertainment to include scoring for wildlife documentaries to episodic television to films. Neil has written scores for two Emmy Award winning documentaries. The first, a National Geographic Television Special, Survivors of the Skeleton Coast, narrated by acclaimed actor Peter Coyote, won in 1994. He recently completed the main theme and segments for the Directors Guild of America/Santa Monica City Television's one hour project entitled "A Community Of Caring", which was awarded an Emmy for best documentary in 1998. After moving to Los Angeles from Colorado, Neil began episodic television, writing for Aaron Spelling's The Colbys and Hotel, followed by Paramount Television's MacGyver and (The New) Mission: Impossible. Neil went on to write for Beverly Hills 90210 and later for Hearts Are Wild, Melrose Place, and Burke's Law. |
| While writing for television, Neil continued to pursue film scoring, which led to his composing the score for The Andy Devine Story (aka the Cat Story), produced by Film Buff Productions/MGM- UA Filmland. Neil was then contracted to score an American Film Institute picture, The Laureate, winner of the Golden Eagle Award at the Houston International Film and Video Festival. The following year, Neil scored Pictures from the Floating World, a UCLA film project. Later, Palatine Cinema signed Neil to score Un Incontro, An Encounter. |
| Neil began his composing career after completing his Masters in Music Theory and Composition at the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. Two years into his scoring career, Neil was contracted by Marty Stouffer Productions in Aspen, Colorado, to write the main title theme and background music for the first series of Wild America, a PBS national television series. Neil continued to work on the series for seven seasons. The "Born to Run" episode of Wild America won the Gold Award at the 27th Annual International Film and Television Festival of New York. Neil's scores have involved electronic synth music as well as a full studio orchestra. In addition to his film and television career, Neil has taught orchestration as an associate professor at California State University, Northridge. Neil attends Brentwood Presbyterian Church in, Brentwood (Los Angeles), California. Neil is also member of the Media Task Force at the BIOLA UNIVERSITY, La Mirada, California. |
